Peter Johann (Chairman)

Dr. Johann has more than 15 years' experience in the pharmaceutical and health care industry in corporate and business development, licensing, M&A, strategic planning, marketing and sales. He currently is a Managing General Partner of NGN Capital based in Heidelberg, Germany. He was formerly Division Head for Corporate Development at Boehringer Ingelheim.

H. Thomas Aretz

Dr. Aretz received his B.S. from Villanova University, Villanova, Pennsylvania, and his M.D. from Harvard Medical School. Having founded two biopharmaceutical/diagnostic companies, he has raised over $30 million as a board member of these companies. He is currently a Senior Vice President and Medical Director of Harvard International as well as Associate Professor of Pathology, Harvard Medical School.

David I Cohen

Dr. David I. "Buck" Cohen, Chief Executive Officer and Founder earned his B.A. at Harvard College, Phi Beta Kappa in biochemistry, and his M.D. from Harvard Medical School specializing in immunology. Dr Cohen was Co-Chair of the NIH HIV vaccine development committee which in the mid 90s had oversight over the development of worldwide HIV vaccine trials. Dr. Cohen Is an internationally high recognition medical researcher and cancer immunology who has published over 50 manuscripts in the most widely cited biomedical journals.

William Gedale

Mr. Gedale is a managing partner at NGN Capital and a director of several innovative biotechnology companies including Promosome and Enzybiotics.

Martin Sanders

Dr. Sanders was the Medical Director at Centocor, responsible for design and conduct of many of the earliest conducted clinical trials of recombinant monoclonal antibodies for treatment of multiple types of autoimmune disease. He also was Medical Director of the first clinical trials demonstrating effectiveness of TNF inhibition for the treatment of both rheumatoid arthritis, and Crohn’s disease. The anti-TNF monoclonal antibody used in these studies, (Infliximab, Remicade), is FDA approved for the treatment of both of these diseases and currently sells in excess of $3 billion annually.
